Connect for Health CO Information and Enrollment Workshops

The Center for African American Health is a Connect for Health CO Certified Assistant Site

We do not sell or broker health insurance plans.  The Center has eight certified Health Coverage Guides to help you understand and apply online for your health insurance.

The website www.ConnectForHealthCO.com is the only place where Coloradans can access up-front financial assistance, based on income, to reduce the costs of health insurance that is mandated by President Obama's "Affordable Care Act".  Coloradans do not use www.Healthcare.gov to apply for health insurance.

How Does "ObamaCare" Work?

1) Individuals can purchase insurance from any health insurance provider.  However, the only way to get the Federal subsidy 'help' to pay the premiums is to purchase from a carrier listed with Connect for Health CO.

2) Our Health Coverage Guide will help you apply for Medicaid and determine if your are:

a) eligible for Medicaid; or denied Medicaid

b) eligible for the Federal subisdy (you must be denied Medicaid)

3) If you are eligible for the Federal subsidy, we will help you apply online for the health insurance plan that meets your needs and apply your Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) and or Cost Sharing Reductions (CSR).
