New Diabetes Classes Start in JanuaryThe Diabetes Self-Management program is a six-session education program for people with diabetes, at risk for diabetes, or caring for someone with the disease. The purpose is to teach the skills related to taking care of the daily tasks of living with diabetes. The program works! It was developed and tested by the Stanford University School of Medicine.
New classes begin in January. Classes will be held at the Center for African-American Health, 3601 Martin Luther King Blvd., Denver, CO 80205 and at other locations in metro Denver. Details will be available soon.
