Green Beans with Walnuts
Serves 12
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
3 pounds Green Beans, washed and trimmed
3 tablespoons Butter
2 each Red Peppers, 1/4 inch dice
1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon or to taste Pepper
3 tablespoons Walnut Oil
Method:
Prevent Oven to 350° F
1. Roast walnuts in oven for 5-10 minutes
2. Cook green beans in boiling salted water, drain
3. Melt butter in a sauté pan. Sauté red peppers. Add beans and toss.
4. Add walnuts, parsley and toss
5. Finish with salt and pepper and walnut oil
